I'm 18 years old and I recently graduated from Lakewood High School. I was in the IB (International Baccalaureate) program, which basically means I took advanced classes in pretty much everything. I love to learn languages (I took French and Spanish in high school, took IB tests in both, and am starting Japanese in the fall) and to mess with dangerous chemicals in chemistry class. History is most emphatically NOT my favorite subject. =P

I will be attending the University of Oklahoma next year! I'm excited and nervous all at the same time - but mostly excited. I plan to major in chemical engineering, with a language major/minor if I can make the credits work out right. ^^

I have one younger brother; he's 13 and in eighth grade. He's okay most of the time occasionally. =P

I love to read and write and I draw sometimes, though I'm certainly not an amazing artist. I also play computer games like The Sims and The Sims 2 and internet games like Powerpets. My family and I watch some reality TV shows, such as Survivor, Big Brother, The Amazing Race, and American Idol; I also like shows like Mythbusters, Numb3rs, and Moonlight as well as assorted documentaries.

I'm quite busy with school and other obligations, but I will try to keep this journal at least semi-up-to-date. =)
